During this long break, I have no idea what to do. What i know is my Phuket trip is coming near.. 19 days more!!! My first time travelling with friends to oversea! EXCITED!!!

College started 3 weeks ago. Im now on my final semester, just 10 more weeks to go, I will graduate from Foundation.

Semester 3 are FUN. Coz no more Critical Studies and English classes. ( i got C for CS, shame)

But here comes Malaysian Studies and Moral Studies. Both are in Bahasa Malaysia.

My BM has karat since long ago. I havent write a single word of BM after my SPM two years ago. Its time to get my brain back on treadmill running again.

Having 2 projects in hand now. Boxed Identity and Visual Journal. I choose Baba Nyonya as my theme for both of it.

So, what is all about?

Bazaar Project. It has given a proper name, so called ” FUNKY STREET” ( Car Boot Sell).

So, students were divided into 5 groups. Each group can either choose Chinese New Year or Valentines Day as the theme.

We build our own car too. Cardilac or Voxwagen.

All the selling items have to be handmade. DIY!

So, Julius and Steven as my group leader.

Ladies and Gentlement! Please come to our Bazaar Day at KBU on 29th, 30th and 31st of January. There will be total 19 car booth on that day, not only involving Foundation students but also Degree students and outsider.

For my group, we spent around rm 800 for all the materials building car, booth, selling items, and the rental to park our car at the parking lot. 1 day is for rm 30. We will be there for 3 days! So, rm 90. Please come to visit us. I really want to earn back the money. We spent too much for that since college is not giving any allowance for this project and we need to pay for the rental too.

After the presentation today, we had a prizes giving ceremony. My group ranked 4th out of 5. Kinda pathetic. Look at Julius when he received the prize.

Sad!! Haha.

Skull for my packaging. Using paper mache to do it. It used up 1 and a half bottle of PVA glue, which 1 bottle cost me rm6.

COMMENTS!

I am  absolutely pissed at myself for not completed the sketch book on time. It has to be submitted with the sketch model and final model. Looking at the not so bright side, I am still bummed about single handedly killing my chances of securing an A for my project. Best case senario, I’m expecting a B. Bad case senario, its gonna be a C.

Apologies for my absence for almost a month. Sorry for M.I.A for such a  long time. Sitting down to blog hasn’t been on the cards.

New semester started 1 month ago and Im now on the 2 weeks Christmas Break. Here are some brief update about what I’ve been through in awhile.

First project.

So called Character Design. Its about combining a popular icon and an animal, then developed into a new character. I am lucky to get Marilyn Manson and Pelican as my subject matter.

Sounds interesting. Duration: 7 weeks. Now, left 10 more days to go before the dateline. Im working on it now, will post up the final model and its packaging by the year of 2010. Promise!

When this picture of this top shoes designer and me appeared on Facebook the one thing that people wondered were: ” Is this done by photoshop or what?”      

Unfortunately, this is true. I do met him today. How lucky i was.

Curious what happened to me today? Well, be all ears.

Went to MidValley with Shyhui and Kate. We did a some light brainstorming for our english asignment during lunch time. We are in 1 group. At last, we picked Jimmy Choo’s designs as our topic. Okay, after did some shopping, we walked around the mall aimless and lost. I seowled and  my legs were tired walking in the mall. Out of sudden, my eyes bling. I actually saw Jimmy Choo standing in front of Vincci. Then i told Shyhui that J.C is standing beside her. What the hell, she looked upwards instead of turn her head and spot the target next to her. Yish. Haha. Okay then, 3 of us were like wanted to snap photos with him, but no one dare to move forward. But then, the elder (shyhui) went off and asked for permission from him. Oh. he spoke Chinese to us.

And this is it.

This is a great oppurtunity for us, since we are going to pick his designs for our presentation topic. Im surely gonna put this as part of my presentation. One thing that amazed me was we decided to picked his designs and right after 1 hour, we met him. This is like destiny or what. I don’t know. So strange.
